What You Will Do:

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible in financial, accounting and fiscal reporting of Forescout Technologies BV and reporting to Senior Director – International Controller. The role will also play an important role in supporting Research and Development, Product Development and Engineering departments located in the Netherlands.

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will possess strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. The position requires a “hands on” person who is flexible, hard-working and able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Support the global finance management team and other relevant team members to ensure public company compliant operations are in place and to drive continued process improvements
• Ensure timely close process and maintain the integrity of the financial information
• Prepare monthly financial closing procedures in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting and reporting requirements
• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, fixed assets, T&E, and treasury function
• Oversee payroll and employee benefits
• Prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions and closing financial records
• Communicates and solves problems with a wide range of internal and external contacts such as external auditors, tax advisers, banks, etc.
• Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Maintaining the general ledger system
• Preparing annual financial statements for the local entity in accordance with Dutch GAAP and ensure smooth external audit process.
• Coordinating the budget process
• Hiring, training and supervising accounting staff

What You Bring to Forescout:

• Master in Business or comparable degree, RA or CPA or equivalent is preferred
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience with Big 4 audit experience in an advantage

• Exposure to multicultural / international environments
• US GAAP and Dutch GAAP knowledge
• Proficient with MS Excel
• System savvy and ability to work with different applications and databases; experience with Oracle or other cloud-based ERP, a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work independently, yet cooperatively and constructively, in a team environment
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
• Must possess a high level of initiative with the willingness to contribute ideas readily and challenge current processes
• Fluent Dutch and English is essential
