The
Area Service Director will cover Benelux, Nordics and Growing markets sub-regions.
Some of the responsibilities and tasks:
- Manage across a broad geography of projects, customers, and team sizes.
- Exercise day-to-day operations, PnL management and forecasting, stakeholder reporting, varied forms of contract management, and HR/Personnel activities of the team and with the wider Business Unit.
- Drive Business Unit strategy, growth, and business development
- Represent Fluence Services in the Business Unit in front of the customer
- Control of regional service costs and development of cost reduction strategies
- Expansion of regional partnerships and setup of contractual relations
- Generation of new revenue sources and customer value
- Leadership of the field service team for the assigned Business Unit, including scheduling, performance reviews and career development
- Mediation of conflicts that arise and develop internally or externally
- Handling of contract issues and issuance of change orders
- Management of billing and collections
- Point of contact for quoting, including quotes for LTSA contracts after warranty period ends
- Provision of sales support and collaboration on new business development

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Deep understanding of the energy storage service industry
- 8+ years in Energy Industry focused on a service role
- High communication skills targeted at the audience, comfortable in presenting to Senior Customers and Fluence ELT
- Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills
- Professional English skills, both written and verbal
