Business Controller

Your tasks and responsibilities

As the Business Controller at Riwal, you will provide valuable reports and insights into the business to support operational and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for preparing, developing and analyzing management accounting information, delivering high-quality reports providing insights into key business drivers, and interpreting results to identify trends proactively. You will work closely with various stakeholders both at their headquarters and with colleagues from other Riwal countries!

Your role as a Business Controller

• Participate in the development of and support the company's strategic plans; develop and ensure timely and high-quality reporting that meets management's information needs.
• Complete regular financial analysis, identifying and managing financial and business risk, performing economic and sales forecasting, analyzing the company’s commercial and overall performance, and managing financial data;
• Fleet/CAPEX controlling; review and approval of capital expenditures. Monitor actual purchasing compared to budget, cash flow implication of variances from budget, approval of purchase orders and fleet allocation compared to budget;
• Develop and manage the (harmonization of) control processes across countries; define and implement the appropriate controlling tools and monitoring the quality of the Control Framework;
• Quantify and translate the strategic goals to an effective planning and control cycle; preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans; continuous monitoring and review of performance against them;

This is a role in which you can combine your financial skills with working in an international environment. Best of both worlds! Of course, they can teach you the technical specifics of their industry; however, it is more important that you are solution minded and have analytical skills!
