This is what you will do as a Business Controller
As a Business Controller, you work in a technical and dynamic environment and are financially responsible for the medium-sized projects within Equans Noord Holland. Unburdening the customer through optimal technical services is central to this. You have an important role within the Controlling team of the North Holland region. Here you are jointly responsible for the medium-sized projects (eur 25k – eur 1500k). Through an analytical view you know how to challenge the business and you help ensure the connection between the different stakeholders. You provide the right direction and focus within the projects.
Work:
- you have an active role in the Management Control process from strategy formation to month-end closing
- You are a business partner for the project leaders. You regularly discuss project progress, monitor risks and translate this into financial consequences
- You make analyses, have an active role in reliable financial forecasts and come up with suggestions for improvement
- periodically and on request you provide adequate and up-to-date management information such as a project report and various other KPIs
- you report to the bu controller of Equans Noord-Holland
This is what you bring with you
- A completed HBO or WO study in financial or business economics, possibly supplemented with a targeted controller training
- can interpret and fathom figures. finds the story behind the figures by diving into the content and looks beyond just the financial key figures
- proactive professional who has good communication skills and seeks connections with colleagues
- integrity, a high energy level and a certain degree of phlegmatics complete your profile
- experience with services or project control within a technical organization or the ambition to get to know the installation industry
- Good knowledge of Excel and the ambition to learn how to use SAP and Power BI
