Business controller FP&A - Europe

• Oversees all division specific accounting activities to ensure that financial statements are accurate, produced timely and are in accordance with accounting standards
• Provides oversight over multiple finance activities, including technical accounting, reporting, and consolidations
• Overall responsibility for the division accounting reporting processes and systems; and recommending changes to improve systems and financial performance
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
• Supporting local accounting and finance needs, in alignment with group finance
• Support Finance organization Europe & CFO Europe in ad hoc requirements; Ensure credibility of Finance across the different sub functional requirements
• Managing finance & accounting related matters to regional Holding companies

Finance Business Partnering

• Deep dive into available financial data for gathering insights; act as Business Control support towards local market, act as Finance Business Partner in region
• Mentor and train analysts and business partners to enhance understanding of financial and accounting policies and systems and deliver enhanced business decisions
• Work with cross-functional businesses on initiatives and new project as applicable, including but not limited to profitability, productivity, etc.
• Partner with the business leaders to develop annual plans and quarterly financial forecasts; develop efficient processes to consolidate budget/forecast submissions and prepare presentations to senior management; ensure adequate review and buy-in
• Develop models to support strategic initiatives and track progress against the Company’s strategic plan and cost savings initiatives
• Develop business cases including the development of financial forecasts and discounted cash flow analyses
• Leverage business intelligence tools to develop dashboard reports and KPIs for all areas of the business
• Develop, monitor & analyze trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, margins, operating expenses, working capital & SG&A; identify cause of any unexpected variances to deliver clear and actionable recommendations to senior management
