Unfortunately one of our finance colleagues has decided to take a drastic life changing decision to move out of finance completely. That means we have a great opportunity for someone else to become our
CONTROLLER (32-40 per week)
In the past two years we have set some important steps to set up and (further) professionalize our finance department. However, with our growth ambitions, this will need continuous improvement and development. We’re preparing for both organic growth as well as through acquisitions, meaning we will enter new markets, onboard more people and work with new systems.
As Controller you are the one providing us with the financial insights we need. The job will contain of both financial control as business control. As said; we’ve been working hard to set up our financial organisation in the last two years and big steps have been made- especially on the financial control side. That means there is more and more time to work on the things that really add value to the business.
Day-to-day finance stuff is picked up by the Finance Manager. You will be reporting and working closely with our CFO and will mainly focus on:
- Monthly consolidation of all entities (currently 8 spread across Europe, but growing)
- Preparation of group and group entity annual reports (IFRS) including mandatory audit (in collaboration with the Finance managers)
- Coordinating of local tax returns in various countries (together with local advisors)
- Support with acquisition processes (integration / reporting)
- Driving the broader Budget and Control cycle including:
o 5 year plan
o Annual budget
o Quarterly P&L reforecast
o Monthly cash flow forecast
- Prepare monthly board/shareholder reports including broken down analyses by country/region/turbine to identify strong ones
