The electrification of drivetrains and the advancement of IoT technologies are driving a significant increase in both the number of controllers and the complexity of our products. Consequently, there is a proportional growth in the volume of software associated with these developments.
In this context, our clients play a key role in selecting the controllers and designing the architecture for integrating them into vehicles. They are also responsible for developing the software application layer that operates on these controllers. Typically, these controllers are programmed using PLC languages like CoDeSys, LogiCad, and tools such as Matlab/Simulink development environments.
Additionally, depending on your experience and preferences, your job responsibilities may encompass configuration management activities. These could include managing software toolchains, utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and JENKINS, as well as handling version control processes. Overall, your role will involve navigating the complexities arising from the electrification and IoT trends in the industry, with a focus on software development and management
- Participate in multiple projects involving electric and hydrogen drivetrains, as well as body and chassis functions for buses and trucks.
- Work on various controllers, either individually or in combination, for implementing these projects.
- Engage in a wide range of activities, spanning from conceptual development to software implementation, integration, and testing.
- The department's involvement extends from the early concept phase to the final commissioning at the customer's site, following a structured V-model and an 'Agile' hybrid approach.
- Your work environment is diverse, including tasks like computer coding, testing on specialized benches, and hands-on work in buses or trucks on the workshop floor.
- Software coding
- Testing at test bench and/or product itself
- Knowledge of PLC languages
Experience with the following:
- Matlab/Simulink
- Codesys
- LOGICAD 5 and 3
- VECTOR
- GIT sourcetree
- Xray
