About the Team:

Our Accounting team is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting the financial results of the business in a well-controlled, accurate, and timely manner. They work closely with the entire business to ensure we meet our financial commitments and performance targets. The team's key objectives are to deliver accurate financial information and contribute to the growth of the business.

What You Will Be Doing:

The WPBV Financial Controller will be responsible for monthly and quarterly data analysis and reporting. You will confidently present your findings to key stakeholders at different levels. Based in the Netherlands, you will report directly to the MS International Controller and focus exclusively on legal entity control and reporting for WPBV and its subsidiaries. Specifically, you will:

• Prepare concise explanations for variances, support balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, and resolve queries by escalating to the operational and controllership teams.
• Produce analysis-driven monthly actuals for the Worldpay BV legal entity, contribute to the International monthly close, and provide explanations for monthly variances in journal reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare regulatory reporting packs for submission to the DNB. Provide commentary on the P&L and Balance Sheet, analyze merchant trends and business performance, and identify items that require escalation to the settlement and revenue reporting.
• Lead the year-end audit and interims, working closely with internal teams and external auditors to ensure a timely audit delivery. Report internal control, drive change, and implement agreed-upon recommendations, reporting progress to the board.

What You Bring:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) with at least 2 years of industry experience
• Good knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting
• External audit experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with staff and management at all levels
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and methodical
• Excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills

Added Bonus If You Have:

• Experience in continuous process improvements
• Experience in consolidated financial reporting tools such as Hyperion/Essbase
• Experience with Oracle Cloud
• Some knowledge of payments and platforms preferred
