We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Utrecht. As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations, compliance with regulations, and seamless reporting to our global headquarters.

Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Accord Healthcare in Utrecht, your role encompasses several critical functions:

Accounting: You'll be in charge of managing and controlling bookkeeping, making sure it complies with Group standards. You'll also optimize the company's fiscal policy, oversee tax obligations, and take ownership of cost structures, invoicing, and payments. Plus, you'll supervise all accounting processes in line with auditor and headquarters requirements.

Reporting: Your responsibility includes ensuring that financial reporting to the global headquarters is not just accurate but also timely.

Tax Management: You'll act as the main point of contact for tax-related matters. It's essential to guarantee tax compliance and appropriately apply the Transfer Price Policy, including AHL recharges and TP adjustments calculations.

Budget and Forecasts: You'll be developing balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.

Internal and External Audit: Implementing and overseeing internal control processes will be part of your role. Furthermore, you'll be the key contact for auditors when it comes to financial matters.

Team Management: As a Finance Manager, you will lead and develop your team to achieve excellence.

In addition to these core functions, your role requires flexibility in handling ad hoc duties as requested by senior management. This adaptability is a valuable aspect of the position.

The Successful Applicant

Core Competencies:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage workloads effectively.
• Self-starter capable of working independently.
• A team leader and player, demonstrating flexibility as needed to accomplish key tasks.

Relevant Functional/Technical Skills or Industry Experience:

• Strong expertise in SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to understand business priorities and challenges.
• Full knowledge of accounting and tax principles, including NL GAAP and IFRS.

Relevant Professional/Educational Background:

• Master's degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a BIG4 Audit firm is a plus.
