Reach your full potential as Financial Assistant

As a Financial Assistant, you will be part of the Financial Accounting team. This department deals with all financial flows within the company. Within the team, there is a mix of young and experienced colleagues who complement each other well and are willing to learn from each other. In the beginning, you will be paired with a buddy who will take you through all the different systems we work in. From there, your work will expand more. In this way, you will develop further and further to become an independent Financial Assistant.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

• Processing invoices
• Processing bank statements and preparing daily payment batches
• Preparing collection batches
• Checking goods invoices
• Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Supporting in ad-hoc questions and requests for controlling and commerce

Besides these tasks, we eventually expect you to show more initiative in keeping an overview and identifying problems.

This is you

You enjoy administration and are eager to learn more within the field. You work in a structured way, which allows you to switch well between your various tasks, such as working with different administration and mailboxes. You also maintain an overview. You are ready to grow and develop further as a Financial Assistant!

You

• have completed post-secondary vocational education in business administration or assistant controller
• have at least 1 year of internship or work experience
• quickly master different administration systems and pick things up quickly
• have strong communication skills, allowing you to interact quickly with different departments
• are a real team player
• have an excellent command of both written and spoken Dutch and English

We offer you

• A salary between €2000,- and €2500,- in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus and a performance dependent bonus
• Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• 25 vacation days, with the possibility to purchase additional days
• A travel allowance of up to 75 km on single trip travel when working at the office, or an allowance if you’re working remotely (from home)
• The flexibility to work 2 days a week from home
