Group Business Controller

Cefetra Dairy, part of Cefetra Group, is a newly launched and fast growing dairy trading company founded on the strategy to diversify from feed to food. Operating from the Jam Factory in Den Bosch, we focus on a wide range of dairy products on a global scale. With ambitious plans for the further we have opened branches offices in Singapore and Dubai. Our extensive experience and international network allows us to respond directly to all major developments and trends in the market.

The job

As Group Business Controller you are the Business Partner for Cefetra Dairy, where you analyse the results and provide valuable input to the business. Cefetra Dairy is a fast growing organisation and in this role you will drive to further growth of the Cefetra Dairy finance organization. The growth of Cefetra Diary also enables you to grow in the future into a more senior finance role. The finance team consists of four team members and you will report to the Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a pro-active business partner, where you obtain an understanding of the key drivers of the operational results and provide feedback to the commercial teams;
• You will have a global scope overseeing the global activities of Cefetra Dairy;
• Involvement in projects to support further growth of the business, such as M&A projects and new business development;
• Beig a key interface with all relevant stakeholders, such as various teams within Cefetra Dairy and Cefetra Group, but also with external advisors;
• Ensure compliance with local tax requirements, such as corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing;
• Staying informed about new requirements/trends in sustainability/ESG reporting;
• Take a leading role in IT projects.

Who you are

Most important is that you're passionate about the above mentioned. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the tasks and responsibilities in the position. Ideally:

• You have a master degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy or in a relevant field of expertise;
• You possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an international business environment (Big 4 experience is a plus);
• You are a strong communicator and enjoy collaborating with individuals in an international environment;
• You’re excellent in project management and confident to champion new and improved ways of working;
• You are good in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;
• IT savvy with strong experience with Microsoft Excel (and Power BI is a plus).
