We’re looking for a process-oriented Head of Financial Control to join our small but dedicated Finance Team, who is eager to use their experience and curiosity to solve real business challenges. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-moving environment and can adopt an organized approach to managing a varied range of tasks.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL FOCUS ON

Your key responsibilities:

• Own the ERP system (with external technical support if needed) and all financial transactions and reports, maintain the reputation of the management accounts as the single source of truth

• Create accurate and timely period-end reporting (actuals and forecast) to Beerwulf’s management team, budget holders and shareholders

• Partner with budget holders to support sound budget management and create processes to enable new branches of business

• Ensure IFRS compliant and efficient accounting processes

• Manage and support team members in operational accounting activities: AR (O2C & fraud management), AP and cashflow management, VAT, excise and intrastat

THE THINGS YOU BRING TO BEERWULF AS A HEAD OF FINANCIAL CONTROL

• An accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA or similar) with minimum of 2 years post qualified experience

• Experience in D365 accounting software or similar ERP system

• Strong bias for action and delivering results

• Independent, pro-active self-starter and problem solver

• Experience of working with an excisable product is an advantage

• Experience of working in an e-comm company is an advantage
