As a Head Office controller, you are the driving force behind all Corporate spend of Nutreco. You are part of a high-performing team Business Control team based in Amersfoort (the Netherlands).
You act as a business partner to Nutreco’s Senior stakeholders, such as the Management Board, to ensure cost objectives are met. You support and challenge senior stakeholders around cost control, budgets and overall spend, and help them answer any question around these topics. Next to that, you lead month-end processes and ensure accurate financial accounting in collaboration with the shared service center.
In this role, it is key that you can convey crisp and insightful overviews of spend and can identify actions in case of overspend. You’re not afraid to hold people accountable for their budgets and (over)spend but can also constructively direct them in taking corrective actions.
Lastly, in this team you will provide support, from a financial and controlling point of view on any specific projects undertaken in the Corporate Control team, such as zero-based budgeting or corporate reporting.

For this position we are looking for a candidate with a relevant financial or controlling background and good communication skills to be able to work with Senior stakeholders, pro-actively challenge the business and continuously seeks to improve the management of corporate spend. You are very good at keeping an overview whilst not losing sight of details. Furthermore, you are open-minded and flexible to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.
