We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations & Procurement Controller to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be a strategic business partner to both our Global Procurement entity and our senior leadership team within Operations & Supply Chain. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our operations by driving financial performance, overseeing procurement strategies, and providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Lead the planning and control cycle for the global procurement domain, including target setting, reporting, and collaborating with countries to design tools and reports for streamlined processes.
- Forge a strong finance business partnership with the Global Procurement organization, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and providing valuable support.
- Play a key role in reviewing and updating procurement strategies and performance, identifying trends, and actively participating in procurement improvement projects.
- Initiate proactive analysis of procurement trends, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Demonstrate your negotiation prowess by proactively challenging procurement performance and identifying opportunities for improvements and gap closures.
- Assume financial end responsibility for ERIKS Global Procurement B.V., ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Other Operations Domains:
- Review and analyze operations business performance through reliable reports, providing insightful recommendations for cost reduction and operational enhancement.
- Collaborate with Operations Domain leads, actively driving performance management through the development, standardization, automation, and measurement of financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic processes, as well as investment proposal preparations.
- Champion cost awareness and control across the organization, initiating or supporting efficiency programs.
- Act as a catalyst for improved management reporting processes, systems, and formats.
Your Profile:
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
- Bring a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Business Controlling, Operations Controlling, and/or Procurement Controlling within a dynamic international business environment.
- An excellent command of English, both verbal and written, and ideally proficiency in an additional European language such as Dutch, German, or French.
- Embrace a Financial Business Partner mindset, with a natural ability to challenge and support diverse business leadership teams.
- Thrive on achieving results, with a proactive "can-do" attitude and a commitment to driving positive change.
- Demonstrate a high level of conceptual and analytical skills, translating data into meaningful insights.
- Excel in interpersonal communication, influencing, and stakeholder management, presenting ideas with confidence and finesse.
- Possess the ability to manage deadlines and time schedules effectively.
- Show initiative as a self-starter, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to successful completion.
- Feel comfortable utilizing reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI.
