For one of our clients providing innovative offshore solutions, we are looking for a Project Controller. You will focus on project control and oversight, ensuring efficient project management processes. You will work closely with the project execution teams, such as project managers, department leaders, subject matter experts, planners, procurement professionals, and senior management.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly reporting and in-depth analysis of project data, including budgets, actual expenditures, progress, and forecasts.
- Provide vital support to project management teams.
- Take charge of managing project budgets and forecasts, both for ongoing projects and additional work.
- Assist in hour administration and the preparation of sales invoices.
- Engage in cash flow forecasting to ensure financial stability.
- Coordinate closely with the planning department to align project activities.
- Support the sales team by preparing budgets and cash flow projections for new tenders.
- Participate in monthly project boards and divisional meetings to discuss project performance.
- Aid in the budgeting process and quarterly forecasting exercises.
- Offer proactive advice and insights to project teams and management.
- Take the initiative to identify and assist in implementing process imrpovements.
- Possess several years of experience working in a project-based environment.
- Hold a completed University degree, preferably in (Business) Economics or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, transforming data into valuable insights.
- Display an active and curious attitude, unafraid to ask critical questions and seek information independently.
- Be willing to work predominantly on-site with limited remote work opportunities.
- Maintain fluent English proficiency in both speaking and writing.
