Your Career
Are you ready to take your career in payroll to the next level? Palo Alto Networks is searching for a talented Senior Payroll Analyst with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience to join our dynamic EMEA Accounting team. This exciting opportunity is based at our European Headquarters in the vibrant city of Amsterdam.
Your Impact
As a Senior Payroll Analyst at Palo Alto Networks, you'll play a pivotal role in our EMEA Payroll function, impacting the organization in the following ways:
1. Data Maestro: You'll be responsible for collecting and compiling monthly payroll data from multiple sources, including our cutting-edge HR ERP system, Workday. Collaboration is key as you work closely with HR, Sales Compensation, Equity, Compensation & Benefits teams, and our Legal department for approximately 10 countries.
2. Analytics Expert: You'll be able to bring our payroll analytics to the next level, by further developing our analytical reporting, understanding and interpreting the payroll expense trends, as well as partner with our Finance team to help improve forecast accuracy.
3. Precision Executor: Ensuring accuracy is your forte. You'll communicate all monthly and semi-monthly payroll input data to our external Payroll service provider, and execute meticulous checks and controls processes by reconciling Payroll input data to the outputs delivered by these providers.
4. Financial Wizardry: You'll dive into financial intricacies by preparing monthly Payroll journal entries and payroll-related month-end accruals. You'll also be the mastermind behind performing flux movement analysis.
5. Team Player: Collaboration doesn't stop with HR, Sales Compensation, Equity, Compensation & Benefits, and our Legal teams; you'll also assist our R2R team in payroll reconciliation to the General Ledger. You're the bridge that keeps everything aligned.
6. Employee Champion: Expect questions and inquiries from employees and internal functions regarding payroll. Your expertise will shine as you handle these queries with professionalism and accuracy.
7. Compliance Guru: Handle payroll-related annual statutory audit requests with precision, ensuring our organization is in top compliance shape.
8. Change Maker: Be a part of exciting Payroll projects aimed at improving accuracy and efficiency in the EMEA Payroll function. Your critical thinking skills will be invaluable in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.

As a Payroll Team, we are fully committed in delivering an accurate and timely payroll, providing the best employee experience by being a trusted advisor.
You will work closely with different teams such our HR, Compensation and benefits, legal, equity teams, and support different initiatives of the business with special focus on further developing our analytical reporting, in addition to implementing process improvements that will increases the efficiency of the overall payroll cycle.
