Working Student Document Controller Operations and Equipment

We operate the world’s largest crane vessel and with them we transport, install, and remove offshore structures for the offshore energy markets. Our projects range from installing wind turbines, removing retired offshore oil and gas platforms, and installing platforms up to 50,000 metric tons. Your role in the story

We are looking for an experienced, independent Document Controller with drive to strengthen our Operations and Equipment Department. As Document Controller you proactively check, chase, release and archive documents as well as draft and/or send out certain standardized correspondence. You control all documentation applications for our Operations and Equipment department, mainly focusing on document control of new or revised asset certificates, as built and red line deliverables. Furthermore you liaise closely with our Document Controllers on board of our vessels, Equipment Managers and Draughtsmen. As a last you are responsible for adequate filing of equipment related certificates and technical documentation into our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) / Sharepoint. You report to Vessel & Marine Assurance Manager.

The profile of our new Document Controller:

• doing a technical study in mechanical or civil engineering or similar direction;
• Experienced user of SharePoint is considered an advantage;
• Used to working with sensitive information;
• Process minded, accurate, quality- and result orientated;
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
• Available for 16-24 hours per week.
