Role Overview
As an integral member of the Kantar Netherlands Finance team, the Assistant Financial Controller (AFC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the robust day-to-day operations of the team, with a primary focus on producing comprehensive management information. The AFC will be responsible for implementing controls and checks within the finance team to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data. This role encompasses key responsibilities in management accounting, departmental reporting, compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and the execution of essential business transactions such as journal entries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Financial Administration:

Coordinate month-end closing process with our team in Porto.

Support Balance Sheet specification management.

Help country controller with day-to-day ad hoc business requests.
2. Planning and Control:

4. Debtor and Creditors Management:

Assist in managing debtors and creditors to optimize cash flow.

Coordinate Accounts Payable process with our team in India, address issues and improve process.

Manage intercompany transactions reporting.
Profile
We are seeking a qualified and dynamic individual with the following attributes:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics or similar.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar function.
Skills and Qualities:

Hands-on approach to financial tasks and responsibilities.

Proficient in Dutch and English.

Proactive, daring, and a great team player.

Methodical with great attention to detail.
