The Financial Controller is responsible for a range of critical functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, audit preparation, tax compliance, and cash flow management. This role involves overseeing financial systems, risk management, month-end & year-end closing, payroll and benefits, financial compliance, variance analysis, and strategic financial support for the management team.
Additionally, the Financial Controller is responsible for leading and mentoring a finance and accounting team, handle management reporting, and maintain accounting policies. Treasury functions, including managing banking relationships and ensuring optimal cash and liquidity, are also key responsibilities.
