Get ready to make a real impact in a certified B Corp as our new Financial Controller by creating reporting to our internal and external stakeholders, as well as driving process improvements or resolving operational inefficiencies.
The position is full-time immidiately available at our HQ in Amsterdam and reports directly to Karin Hoogendoorn, our CFO.
You'll be...
- Realising accurate and timely monthly, year-end close processes & the preparation of internal and external reporting
- Leading the preparation of annual statutory accounts, including project management and coordination of the audit process in the Netherlands and other European countries
- Driving operational excellence throughout the organisation and improving performance
- Working on process improvements to facilitate a strong and smooth future growth while finding ways to standardise and automate processes
- Delivering on ad hoc requests such as business cases, CSR audit and dashboarding
- Working closely with a dynamic and young finance team
- Contributing not only to the company’s mission, but also to our Responsibility mission of being committed to being a more socially & environmentally responsible business, every day.

You...
- Have at least 5-6 years of experience within a Big 4 audit firm or as a financial controller within a high growth international environment
- Have a solid understanding of internal control, accounting and financial processes
- Love crunching numbers and like to question the status quo
- Have a good sense of humour and are a big optimist
- Are familiar with external reporting standards
- Are able to improvise and deal with new challenges.
- Are not scared by Excel formulas and know how to use them.
- Have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment where flexibility is key
