Job description

FP&A is a function within the Corporate Finance department. The objective is to improve financial planning and analysis with the aim to create better insights in business results and expectations in forecasting. This includes scenario planning, budgets and rolling forecasts, target setting and benchmarking. Development of financial models and project management of implementing tools in this area, in close cooperation with Corporate Finance Staff and BU Finance Directors.

The new Group Controller FP&A will contribute to the further professionalization of the FP&A function in the HG Group.

Your main responsibilities:

• Create insights with thorough financial analysis, posing analytical questions to the BU & Holding organizations
• Establish models to improve our planning and analysis of financial and business results
• Support and develop the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze and comment on variances between actual results and forecast/budget;
• Improve monthly reporting processes, including presentation to Executive and Supervisory Boards
• Support in meeting new reporting requirements of our (PE) shareholders and create monthly reporting set
• Lead projects to establish improved planning process with rolling forecasting and higher level of calendar year budgeting/forecasting and implement/maintain a planning tool worldwide
• Provide support and challenge BU FDs in creating and reviewing Capex/ Business Cases and presentation thereof to Executive and Supervisory Boards

Do you have the following requirements?

• Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Experience: 4-8 years in a Finance function (Finance, Accounting/Reporting, Financial Modelling, Business Analysis)
• Familiar with ERP systems and interfaces

• Experience in working in a complex international matrix organization
• Knowledge: Thorough financial and accounting knowledge; Highly skilled in building complex models with software tools (e.g., Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI)
  
• Strong reporting skills
• Fluent in verbal and written English
