MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Inventory Control Operations, coordinating the order placement & follow up.
- Achieve team targets on fill-rate, inventory level, ETD info and VOR & Backorder Management.
- Lead & develop the team of 6 stock controllers.
- Identification of supply risks and definition & implementation of countermeasures.
- Achieve 'Operational Excellence' by strong process and procedure management (PDCA).
- Manage & improve the supplier base performance.
- Optimizing fill rate and service level based on Inventory analysis.
- Actively support your team in escalations with suppliers to resolve supply issues.
- Lead Process improvements & Project Activities related inventory optimization and operational excellence.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- HBO-level, including inventory management knowledge.
- Operate on tactical level, defining, updating & controlling the inventory control framework.
- Autonomous in decision-making and team-management to achieve results.
- Strong sense of responsibility to secure supply chain performance output.
- Pro-active, positive and 'can-do mentality' and able to set (team) priorities right.
- Organization-sensitive' and cultural-awareness to be able to build and maintain strong relationships across departments.
- Able to challenge and motivate your team on individual and team level. Experience as a team-leader is a plus.
- Analytic, accurate and committed to maximize performance of the daily operations.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Problem solving, flexible and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Access, SAS and SAP Service Parts Planning. Experience with SAP DRP is a plus.
